LIGHT THE LIGHTS

Join the Sesquicentennial Planning Committee and the Glencoe Chamber of Commerce for the Sesquicentennial Finale: Light the Lights on Friday, November 29 in downtown Glencoe!

 

In addition to the traditional tree lighting ceremony, carolers and visit from Santa, enjoy a Wine and Beer Stroll, live reindeer, a trackless train and shopping specials from our local businesses. 

EVENT SCHEDULE

 

  • 4-7 p.m.: Wine and Beer Stroll (Participating Businesses) - Pre-Order Your Cups Here >>

  • 4-7 p.m.: Shopping Specials (Participating Businesses) - View Shopping Specials >>

  • 4-7 p.m.: Trackless Train Rides (Train Depot at Wyman Green)

  • 5-7 p.m.: Live Reindeer (Wyman Green)

  • 5:15 p.m.: Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony (Park and Vernon avenues)

  • 5:30-7 p.m.: Photos with Santa (Outside Village Hall)

  • Other: Live music by the Prairie Brass Band and the North Shore Harmonizers, Glencoe Holiday Drive cookies, food samples and more!
